Etna

Etna is a reclining ceramic sculpture in red clay, defined by its grounded, folded form and contrasting green glaze details. The glaze moves irregularly across the raw surface, pooling and dripping over the curves while leaving much of the natural clay exposed.

Hand-built as part of the Folded Series, Etna explores the female figure through folds, weight, and abstraction. Its earthy red clay and deep green glaze evoke a landscape shaped by heat and movement, giving the piece its volcanic name.
