Sirocco

This unglazed ceramic sculpture is part of the Folded Series, an ongoing exploration of the female form through folded slabs of clay. The piece transforms a flat surface into a sculptural silhouette, where simple folds and curves suggest the body without defining it completely.

Hand-built in red clay and left unglazed to preserve its natural, earthy surface, the sculpture is finished with a hand-drawn pattern using underglaze pencil. The delicate lines contrast with the raw clay and emphasize the movement of the folded form.
